Pelagus | Oil & Textured Paste
A beautiful handmade abstract art piece. A duo piece consisting of 2x 40cm x 30cm (approx) on wood pieces with a combined size of 80cm x 60cm (approx).
Made with oil paints & texture paste with each half of the piece set in a white wooden frame.
The piece was inspired by the deep sea and crashing waves making the title 'Pelagus' which means the open sea in Latin very fitting.
As an added element, there is also small inserts of resin within the piece, adding that reflective water-like aspect.
Each design is unique and one of a kind, the perfect addition or gift to any home.
I make all my own pieces in my studio with high quality resin and paint.
