Made from textured paste and oil paint, Pruina means the frost formed on cold surfaces in Latin.
I love the subtle impact of this piece with the blended light teal background against the contrast of the main focal point of the texture. Embedded in the texture is tiny pieces of mirror glass to add that extra detail of shine to reflect both ice and water elements.
I found this piece very soothing to both create and look at, inspired by my trip to Norway in the Winter and the stunning fjords.
